  1. Lighted loop is in excellent shape for both classic and skate.

    1. Which trail is lighted? I was there last night and it was completely dark.

  2. Going to be supper skiing this week!

P.S. It would be awesome if people started posting updates on some of the other trails after they have skied them. :)

  3. Skied lighted loop and out towards the cabin on afternoon of 5 Feb. Trails very soft for skating, and I imagine poling for classic would have been hard as well.

  4. Just got back from a great afternoon here. Skied the blue-loop, counter-clockwise from the parking lot - it's possible to cross the road and do the full loop this year, there are no barriers. Surface is groomed for skate and classic, but the classic tracks are set quite close to the edge of the packed surface, so your outer pole often sinks quite deep. Don't know what'll happen after tomorrow's storm...

  5. Skied the fitness loop and out past the airfield and towards the cabin as it was snowing today. Good pack for skating, but fairly soft still at the edges so outside pole sinks when in the classic tracks. Some spots in the trails the grooming has left a small ridge or valley in the center of the trails, but most is good.

  8. Skate skied the south part of blue, the green and part of yellow. All were freshly groomed, in excellent shape, and tracked for classic. They still need more snow to groom over the stream at the base of the sledding hill, but it is crossable with care on skis.

  9. Trails open are as listed in post above, with thin but complete cover in all but a few spots (near lodge and far end of green for example). Conditions quite good considering the low snow, with the classic tracks suffering the most - these probably can't be reset until there is significantly more snow.

  10. Has the black trail that connects the yellow back to the blue trail by the waste water treatment plant been fixed? This used to make a great 10K outside loop.
